Description: Responsible for the direct supervision and daily care of the residents in accordance with the established philosphy, goals and policies for the Foundation. The Residential Couselor's basic tasks is to be an instructive guide offering individual residents personal support and encouragement. This position supervises guides and assists residents in day-to-day living activities, and in the general adjustment to group living. Description: Case Manager to provide goal-oriented and individualized support to the youth at Nassau Juvenile Residential Facility. Assessment, planning, advocacy and coordination of service activities to prepare for youth's discharge are a few of the responsibilities of this position. Bachelor's degree in human service related field and at least one year experience working with adolescents with serious emotional disturbances.
